The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Misses Loring and Sohier Messrs. Driver, Bulkeley, Webber and Dodge.
The records of the last meeting were read and approved.
The titles reported by the committee on circulation for July 31 and Aug 28 were accepted.
The Committee on Circulation were grm~ted authority to purchase 40 titles, and the set of 100
best pictures by Hubert-Ritchie.
Also to expend 20.00 for books on mechanics and engineering.
Voted That the question of purchasing the volumes presented by Miss Assewith Carver Coolidge
be referred to Miss Loring.
Voted To accept and acknowledge the gift Miss Assewith C. Coolidge of a volume entitled
Christmas versus Fourth of July.
The communication from the City Treasurer was received referring to the gift of 16,000. The
will of Rev. Augustus Woodbury, D.D. of Cove and U.H. read and placed on file.
