The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Misses Loring and Sohier, Messrs. Driver, Kilham, Bulkeley, Webber and Dodge.
Records of the last meeting read and approved.
Voted That the committee on circulation be authorized to procure and place in circulation 25 titles
as approved, previous to the next regular meeting of the board.
Voted That Mr. Woodberry be requested to correspond with Mr. Robert Bancroft on behalf of the
Trustees in acknowledgment of his kind offer regarding a lot of land as a site for a Public
Library building, which he has finally withdrawn.
Voted That Mr. Bulkeley's report on the Library for 1908 be accepted and adopted as the report of
the Board, and together with the librarian's report be forwarded to the City Clerk to be
printed with the City documents.
Voted That the estimate of expenditures for 1909 be forward to his Honor the Mayor. See letter with details in the letter file.
