The regular meeting of the Trustees occurred on the above date.
Present Miss Loring and Messrs. Driver, Kilham, Bulkeley and Dodge.
The records of the last meeting were read and approved.
Voted That the report of the committee on circulation with reference to 8 titles present, be accepted
and adopted.
Voted That the committee on circulation be authorized to purchase the 5th volume of Hasting's Bible
Dictionary.
Voted That the rules and regulations be amended by adding the following
"That every book upon its return to the library be subject to the call of the first comer, as no
book can be reserved."
Voted That the contract with the Bodley Book Club be renewed.
Voted That the annual report as submitted by the committee and read, be accepted, adopted and
forwarded to the City Clerk to be printed.
Voted That an appropriation of 4000.00 and ½ the Dog Tax be asked, for the maintenance of the
library for 1904.
Voted That Messrs. Kilham and Bulkeley be a committee to suggest some plan for establishing an
evening reading room.
Voted That the committee on circulation be authorized to purchase Harper's Encyclopedia of United
States History.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
