Benjamin R. Bulkeley, Edward L. Giddings, Katharine P. Loring, and Elizabeth P. Sohier Board members absent: Allen H. Bennett, Charles L. Dodge, Joseph C. Kilham, and George E. Woodberry Others present: Recorder: Charles L. Dodge Beverly June 28 1902 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on the above date. Present Miss Loring, Miss Sohier and Messrs. Driver, Giddings, and Bulkeley. The record of the last meeting was read and approved. Voted That the report of the committee on circulation with reference to the purchase of 175 books to replace some worn out, also of 8 volumes of the '~lsie books" and recommend the purchase of 12 titles if they prove upon examination to be desirable, with 7 volumes present and approved, was accepted and adopted. Voted To recommend the purchase of 3 volumes of Spanish and 20 volumes of French books. Voted To authorize Miss Loring to purchase for the Farms Branch several volumes of St. Nicholas and other works at a cost of one hundred dollars, to be taken from the Wheelwright Fund. Voted To purchase Stoddards supplementary volume. Voted That the Committee on Rooms & Administration be instructed to cause the Farms Branch to be equipped with Electric Lights.
