Beverly, May 28th 1929
A meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Tuesday, May 28th, at 4 P.M.
There were present of the Board Miss Loring, and Messrs. Porter and Delaney.
Since this number does not constitute a quorum, the following action was taken subject to the
approval of the Board.
The reports of the Finance Committee and of the Librarian were read.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 150 titles, and the receipt of 79
gifts.
It was moved that the Library close, as usual, at 8 P.M. - Saturdays excepted - from June 1st
until the day after Labor Day.
Also that Mr. Hanners and Mr. Eldridge be allowed four weeks salary during illness - this to
include their two weeks vacation.
Moved to adjourn.
