Regular meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was held at the Library on Saturday
the 28th day of November 1925 at 3:30 P.M.
There were present of the Board
Misses Loring, Sohier and Marsters, Messrs Hood and Delaney.
The record of the meeting of October 3 1st 1925 was read and approved.
The Finance Committee made monthly report.

To approve same.

To accept the Librarian' s report to date and place same on file.
That the Administration Committee in consultation with the Finance Committee proceed to
repairing the plastering, to the extent that the funds allow.
Voted:
To accept the report submitted as a report of progress in regard to establishing a branch of
the Library at Ryal Side. The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 14 titles and
the receipt of 320 gifts.
Voted:
That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation be accepted and the thanks of the
Trustees be extended for the gifts.
Voted:
To accept the recommendation of the Special Committee appointed to consider the policy of
sending the Librarian and her assistant to various meetings connected with Library work and that
$150.00 be expended from the Trust Funds for this purpose.
Voted:
That the report as prepared by Miss Loring be adopted as the report of the Board of Trustees
for 1925.
Voted:
That subscription for the ensuing year be made to the list of newspapers recommended by the
Committee on Circulation.
Voted:
To engage Mrs. Edna Hurlburt as an assistant at a salary of $1200 a year beginning January
1, 1926.
