Regular meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was held at the Library on Saturday
the 26th day of September 1925 at 3:30 P.M.
There were present of the Board.
Misses Loring, Sohier and Marsters, Messrs. Chase, Small and Hood.
The records of the meeting of August 29th 1925 were read and approved.
The Finance Committee made monthly report.
Voted:
To approve same.
Voted:
That the Secretary of the Board be authorized to ask the Finance Committee of the City
Government for the transfer of $850.00 from the salary account to Maintenance account.
Voted:
To accept the Librarian' s report to date and place same on file.
Voted:
To authorize the Committee on Circulation to spend $20.00 for books for the use of the
pupils living in Beverly, attending the Salem Normal School
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 52 titles and the receipt of 97 titles
from Rev. Edward A. Chase and 62 titles the gift of Mrs. Rhodes of West Manchester.
Voted:
That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation be accepted and the thanks of the
Trustees be extended to Rev. Mr. Chase and Mrs. Rhodes for their gifts.
Voted: To accept the list submitted by the Committee on Circulation for magazines for the year 1926.
