A special meeting of the Trustees was held at the Library on Friday the 14th of August 1925 at 3:30
P.M.
There were present of the Board
Miss Loring, Messrs. Porter, Hood, Delaney and Pond.
Mr. Porter moved that Me. Pond be elected Secretary Pro Tem.
Mr. Hood made the following motion (motion appended) Mr. Delaney seconded it.
At a meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library duly called, it was
VOTED: That Percy A. Wallis, Treasurer of the City of Beverly, be and he is hereby
authorized to withdraw from the Beverly Savings Bank the sum often thousand dollars ($10,000.)
And interest and that he be further authorized to make the same payable to the Beverly National
Bank, said Bank to make withdrawal on October 15, 1925, and request said Bank to advance ten
thousand dollars ($10,000.) Subject to this order.
