Beverly, August 28th, 1930
A meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the library on Thursday, August 28, at 4
P.M., there being present Miss Loring, Mrs. Motley, and Mr. Pond.
The records of the meeting of July 3 1st were read and approved.
The Librarian presented a summary of expenditures for the eight months of the year, and a
short account of library activities during August. This was approved and placed on file.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 439 titles and the receipt of 2
girls.
Voted: - that this recommendation be accepted.
A letter was read, inviting the Trustees to an Essex County neighborhood meeting to be held
at the Danvers Library on September 9th.
