The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the library on Thursday, July 31,
at 4P.M.
There were present of the Board, Miss Loring, Mrs. Motley, Messrs. Pond, Rowe and
Delaney.
The records of the meeting of June 26th were read and approved.
The financial summary for the month was presented by the Librarian, in the absence of Mr.
Small.
Voted: that this be approved.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 62 new titles and the receipt of
48 gifts.
Voted: that this recommendation be accepted.
The Administration Committee made report on plans for painting to be done at the Main
Library, and for changes to be made in the lighting arrangements around the Circulation Desk. They
also reported the arrival of the new chairs for the Adult Reading Room, and discussed the question
of the disposal of the old.
