Regular meeting oaf the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was held at the Library on Saturday
the 27th day of February 1926 at 3:30 P.M.
There were present of the Board.
Misses Loring, Sohier and Marsters, Messrs. Small, Delaney, Hood, Porter and Rowe.
The records of the meeting of January 30th 1926 were read and approved.
The Finance Committee made monthly report.
Voted:
To approve same.
Mr. Small presented two forms to be considered for a financial monthly report.
Voted:
To authorize the Chairman of the Board to communicate with he Mayor relative to the
transfer of the income from the Trust Funds for 1925.
Voted:
To accept the Librarian' s report to date and place same on file.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 36 titles and the receipt of 43 gifts.
Voted:
That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation be accepted and the thanks of the
Trustees be extended for the 43 gifts.
Miss Loring reported the Farms Branch had been opened Saturday mornings.
Voted:
That the question of purchasing the America Library Association publications be referred to
the Chairman of the Board and the Librarian.
Voted:
That the Trustees request the Mayor and Board of Aldermen to transfer the custody of the
Casali property recently purchased by Public Library funds held by the Trust Fund Commissioners,
to the Trustees of the Public Library.
Voted:
That the Committee on Administration be authorized to examine into and report at the next
meeting relative to the disposal of the Casali property.
