Beverly February 24th 1927
Regular meeting of the Trustees of the Beverly Public Library was held at the Library on Thursday
the 24th day of February 1927 at 4 P.M.
There were present of the Board
Misses Loring and Marsters, Mrs. Motley, Messrs Porter, Small, Hood, Rowe, and Pond.
The records of the meeting of January 27th 1927 were read and approved.
Mr. Small presented the February statement of the Finance Committee.
Mr. Small reported that the Mayor had approved our budget as asked for.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 95 titles and the receipt of 8 gifts.
Voted:
That the recommendation of the Committee on Circulation be accepted and the thanks of the
Trustees be extended for the 8 gifts.
Voted:
To authorize the Secretary of the Board to convey the thanks of the Trustees to Mr. Gordon
for his gift of a book of engravings.

That the Administration Committee be instructed to proceed to the repairing of the roof- as
soon as the budget is forthcoming.
