The bids for painting at the Main Library were publicly opened at 4 P.M.
Three bids were received:- from Connolly Bros. of Beverly Farms, $680.00
Harold Landergren, Beverly, $885.00
Williams & Powers, Danvers, $235.00
Since the last estimate was so much lower that the others, the contract was given to this firm
ofWilliams & Power.
They agreed to begin work at once.
