Beverly, April 27, 1950
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at 7:30 P.M., on Thursday, April 27,
with Mr. Delaney, Mr. Boyden, Mr. Small, and Mr. Yoffa in attendance.
The records of the meeting of March 30 were read and approved.
The report of the Finance Committee was also presented and approved; and it was decided
that since the Mayor had done nothing about putting in supplementary budget order for the Library,
as he had previously agreed to do, it would be wise for Miss Stanton and Mr. Delaney to consult with
him again.
The Administration Committee reported that it had been necessary to do some small plumbing
repairs, but that no other work had been undertaken.
The Circulation Committee reported the purchase of 211 titles and the acceptance of 32 gifts.
The report of the Librarian was then presented and placed on file.
It was voted to allow the Brownie Troop at the Farms to use the Library Hall free of charge
for its weekly meetings.
