The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, January
26th, at 4 P.M.
There were present, of the Trustees, Miss Loring, and Messrs. Cronin, Porter, Delaney,
Woodberry and Small.
The records of the meeting of December 29th were read and approved.
Mr. Small reported that the Finance Committee had not yet met with the Mayor and Finance
Committee of the City Government, to discuss the budget for 1933 but were to do so on Friday,
February 3rd.
Voted: that this report be accepted.
The Administration Committee reported that all repairs planned for 1932, had been finished,
and that further work could wait until the amount of the appropriation was known.
The report of the Librarian, giving details of circulation for 1932, and for January 1933, was
read and placed on file.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 57 titles and the receipt of 18
gifts.
Voted: that this recommendation be approved.,
Voted: to proceed to the organization of the Board.
Ballots were cast for Chairman, and Miss Loring was again chosen unanimously as Chairman
of the Board.
It was moved and seconded that Miss Stanton be made Secretary of the Board. This was
passed by unanimous vote.
Miss Loring, as Chairman, then appointed the following Committees: -
