The regular meeting of the Board was held on Thursday, June 28, at 7:30 P.M. with Mr.
Delaney, Mrs. Conrad, Mrs. Cook, and Messrs. Foster, Cagan and Rowe in attendance.
The records of the meeting of May 31 were read and approved as was the report of the
Finance Committee giving a summary of expenditures and balances for the first six months of the
year.
The Administration Committee reported that no repairs had been necessary, during the month,
and that if it were necessary to pay labor charges to the Maintenance Crew of the City, as well as cost
of materials, almost nothing could be done this year.
The Circulation Committee recommended the purchase of 387 titles and the acceptance of
30 gifts.
The report of the Librarian, summing up the activities of the half year was presented and
placed on file.
It was voted, because of the increase in circulation, that the Station in the Centerville School
be kept open during the summer months.
Voted: to omit the July and August meetings of the Board, unless called for by the Chairman
for a special purpose.
