The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Thursday, May 29, at 7:30
P.M.
There were present, of the Board, Mr. Delaney, Mrs. Conrad, and Messrs. Birmingham
and Small.
The Secretary's report of the previous meeting was read and approved, and all action
taken at that meeting, at which there had not been a quorum present was ratified.
The report of the Finance Committee, giving the details of expenditures and balances to
date, was read and approved.
Mr. Delaney reported, for the Administration Committee, that the linoleum floor covering
had been laid and the new flourescent lights installed, in the workroom at the Main Library; and
that the only thing remaining to be done at the Main Library this summer would be the painting of
the iron work outside the building. This report was approved.
The Circulation Committee recommended the purchase of 210 titles and the acceptance of
40 gifts. Approved.
