The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, Mary 26,
at 4:00 P.M.; there being present, of the Trustees, Miss Loring, Mrs. Motley, and Messrs. Pond,
Porter and Cronin.
The records of the meeting of April 28 were read and approved.
In the absence of Mr. Small, the report of the Finance Committee was presented by the
Secretary of the Board. Voted: that this report be approved.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 182 new titles and the
acceptance of 125 gifts.
Voted: that this recommendation be approved.
It was voted that, as in former years, the Library close at 8 P.M., Saturdays excepted, from
June 1 until the day after Labor Day.
In view of the fact that both the Librarian and the First Assistant would be in Bethlehem at
the Noah Atlantic Library Club Conference, during the last week in June, and that there would be
no matter of great importance to be considered at that time, it was voted to omit the June meeting
of the Board of Trustees, unless especially called by the Chairman.
