The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday,
September 27th, at 4 P.M.
There present of the Trustees, Miss Loring, Mrs. Motley, and Messrs. Small, Cronin and
Delaney.
In the absence of Miss Stanton, Mr. Delaney was appointed Secretary pro tem.
The records of the meeting of June 28th were read and approved, and all action taken at
that meeting, at which there was not a quorum present, was ratified.
Voted: that $500.00 be taken from the Trust Funds and used for replacements.
The report of the Committee on Circulation was read and accepted.
The report of the Finance Committee, giving expenditures and balances to date was read
and approved.
Voted: that the Administration Committee make an investigation of the lighting in both
reading rooms and report at the next meeting.
Voted: that this same committee look into the matter of a glass partition for the Adult
Reading Room, similar to the one now in the Children's Room.
Voted: that the list of magazines for 1935, as presented by the Circulation Committee, be
approved, and the usual procedure of obtaining estimates, to be presented at the next meeting, be
carried.
Voted: to adjourn
