A meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, June 28 at 4 P.M.,
there being present of the Board only Miss Loring, Mrs. Motley, and Mr. Delaney.
Since this was not a quorum, all action was taken subject by ratification at the next meeting
of the Board.
In the absence of Miss Stanton who was attending a conference of the Massachusetts Library
Club at Andover, Mr. Delaney was appointed Secretary pro tem.
The records of the meeting of May 31 were read and approved.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 329 new titles and the
acceptance of 550 gifts. Voted: that this recommendation be approved.
The report of the Librarian, summing up school activities and giving details of Stat Certificate
reading was read and placed on file.
The summary of the statement of the Finance Committee was read and approved; after which
the Board adjourned until September.
