The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, May 31
at, 4P.M.
There were present, of the Trustees, Miss Loring, Mrs. E. Preble Motley, Messrs.
Woodberry, Hood, Cronin and Delaney.
In the absence of Miss Stanton, Mrs. Delaney was elected Secretary pro tem.
The report of the meeting of April 26th was read, and all action taken be the Trustees at that
meeting was ratified.
The report of the Finance Committee was read and approved.
The report of the Circulation Committee, recommending the purchase of 110 new books and
the acceptance of 39 gifts, was read. Voted: that this recommendation be approved.
Letters from Miss Jennie Dodge, Miss E. Louise Jones of the State Commission, and Miss
Helen Quill of the American Red Cross, were read and placed on file.
Voted: that twenty five dollars be appropriated from the Trust Funds for subscribing
membership in the American Library Association.
Voted: that the July and August meetings of the Board of Trustees be omitted - subject to call
be the Chairman.
