Beverly, March 28, 1940
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Thursday, March 28, at 4 P.M.,
with Miss Loring, and Messrs. Delaney, Boyden and Rowe in attendance.
The records of the meeting of February 29th were read and approved, as was the summary
of expenditures to date.
The Trustees then proceeded to the organization of the Board.
By ballot, Miss Stanton was chosen to serve another year as Secretary, as Miss Loring
was elected, unanimously, as Chairman.
Miss Loring then appointed the following committees for the year:

It was voted to increase Mrs. Palmer's allowance for use of car in transporting books to
shut-ins from $150 dollars a year to $250.00 a year, because of the larger increase in circulation.
This to be paid from Trust Funds as before.
The report of the Librarian was read and placed on file.
