Beverly, February 29
The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on Thursday, February 29 at 4
P.M. with Miss Loring, Mr. Delaney, and Mr. Boyden in attendance.
The records of the meeting of January 25th were read and approved as was the statement
of the Finance Committee giving expenditures and balances to date.
The Circulation Committee recommended the purchase of 110 new titles & the acceptance
of 10 gifts. Voted: that this be approved.
A letter from Mrs. Palmer was read, asking that she be given a larger allowance for use of
her car in taking books to shut-ins, since her circulation of books was now nearly four times as
large as when the allowance of $12.50 a month was voted, and increase in circulation has meant
added expense in running the car.
The report of the Librarian was presented and placed on file.
Voted to adjourn
