The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held on June 24th at 4 P.M., with Miss
Loring, Mrs. Motley, Messrs. Porter, Rowe, Cagan and Pond in attendance.
The records of the meeting of May 27th were read and approved.
The Secretary, in the absence of Mr. Small, presented the report of the Finance
Committee, giving details of expenditures to date. Voted: that this report be approved.
Voted also: that the Librarian be authorized to spend, from Trust Funds, a sum not
exceeding $300 for professional improvement of the Staff during this year.
The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 104 new titles and the
acceptance of 12 gifts. This recommendation was approved.
The Librarian's report, giving figures of circulation and registration, with a short account
of the work done in State Certificate Reading during the year, was read and placed on file.
Voted: to allow Miss Crafts two week leave of absence without pay in addition to her
regular vacation, in order that she might take a trip to California.
Voted: to adjourn until September 30th unless otherwise called by the Chairman.
