Loring, Saul J. Cagan, James A. Cronin, Thomas F. Delaney, Rev. Clarence S. Pond, Fred H. Porter, William A. Rowe, and Robert O. Small Board members absent: Mrs. E. Prebble Motley, Sr., Clarence S. Pond, Others present: Recorder: Marjorie H. Stanton Beverly, January 28, 1937 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, January 28th at 4 P.M., with Miss Loring and Messrs., Cronin, Cagan, Porter, Delaney, Rowe and Small in attendance. The records of the meeting of December 3 1st were read and approved. Mr. Small then presented the report of the Finance Committee, and stated that the Committee was to meet that evening with the Mayor and the Finance Committee of the City for a discussion of the Budget for the year. Voted: that this report be approved. The Librarian gave a summary of the registration and circulation at the Main Library, Farms Branch, and Deposit Stations, for the year 1936, as well as of activities during the present month. This report was placed on file. Mr. Rowe presented an informal report as to possible new locations for the Station at Noah Beverly, and said that after consulting the Men' s Club, he would bring in other suggestions at a later meeting of the Board. The Committee on Circulation recommended the purchase of 123 new titles and the receipt of four gifts. Voted: to approve this recommended be approved. Voted: to adjourn Adjourned Marjorie H.
