Beverly, January 3, 1935
A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Library on Thursday, January 3rd
at4p.m.
The records of the meeting of December 27th were read and approved.
Miss Loring then explained the reason for calling the Special Meeting: namely the receipt of
a letter from Mr. Cronin asking for reconsideration of the budget for 1935.
After discussion of probable cost to Mrs. Keenan of administering the library Deposit Station
in her store at Ryal Side, and the reading of a letter from Fraser & Patch as to the question of rent,
Mr. Cronin moved to reconsider the budget for 1935 as presented by the Finance Committee and as
voted upon at the last regular meeting of the Board.
Mr. Small then moved to adopt the budget as prepared by the Finance Committee and
presented to the last meeting. This was seconded by Mr. Porter, and passed by unanimous vote.
