PRESENT: J. Frates, C. Raymond, S. Menezis, L. Boehynski- Facilities Manager
S. Menezes got information on recreational rates for the winter. He spoke with Beverly
Port Marina, and called other marinas.
C. Raymond got information on commercial rates for the winter.
Gloucester- St. Peter's Marina & Harbor Cove Marina charge $3.75 per foot per month.
This is $45.00 per foot per year.
Gloucester State Fish Pier charges by the length of the berth. The rate being $5.50 per
foot per month. Thin is $66.00 per foot per year.
J. Frates made a motion of a 5% increase in winter rates for commercial and recreational
boats. This figure would be rounded up to the nearest dollar. S. Menezis seconded. All
in favor.
Pleasure rate increase from $33.00 to $35.00 per foot for winter season, and commercial
rate increase from $11.00 to $12.00 per foot for winter season.
L. Bochynski mentioned establishing a new rate system starting July 1, 2004. Tenants to
pay 50% of combined summer & winter rates on July 1, 2004. The balance to be paid
monthly over the next 11 months. This will be further discussed at a future meeting.
