1999-10-07BEVERLY HARBOR MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES October 7, !999 PRESENT: D. Neuman, R. Badessa, A. Burns, P. Allen, C. Raymond, J. Murray GUESTS: D. McPherson, L. Bochynski D. Neuman opened the meeting, there was no Public Input. A Motion to accept the Minutes of the previous meeting was made by P. Allen; Seconded by R. Badessa, and all approved. Correspondence - There was correspondence regarding a Coastal Access Grant. A. Burns and C. Raymond will work on this with the Coastal Access Group. A. Burns spoke of the Coastal Access Group meeting. They had 2 guests from Rockport, who showed their accomplishments. R. Badessa handed out the Treasurer's Report Harbormaster had no report. Committees - Planning and Development - D. Neuman spoke of the Harbor Center Plan. Fort Point is working toward accomplishing all that the contract calls for. Facilities - Nothing to report, went into early hibernation. Public Access - C. Raymond received a letter from DEP regarding Port Marina. There will be a meeting in Boston on 11/23/99 @ 10:00 a.m. M. Handly also sent a letter to DEP. These letters are that we object to the License. Licensing and Permitting - Cummings Center, nothing new. Maybe we should talk to Cummings again. There is no forward motion. Bass River - Owners were notified to go through Chapter 91 be DEP. Bunk Property - Last formal word was that he was going to comply. He needs to come back to the Planning Board. Other Business - None P. Allen made a motion to adjourn. J. Murray seconded. All agreed. Respectfully submitted. Eileen Twiss
