Walo Natalie Fiore, Recording Secretary BEVERLY GOLF & TENNIS COMMISSION 134 McKay Street BEVERLY, MASSACHUSETTS 01915 April 14, 1999 MINUTES OF MEETING Present: Jack Altshuler, Kevin Hobin, Patricia Grimes, James O'Leary and William Walo. Absent: Louis Bennett, Dennis Crimmins, John Kenney and Elizabeth Murphy. Other: Mike Farrell, Arthur Orechia and Jonathan Salt. Mr. Salt was invited to attend this meeting to speak about the tennis courts. He was given the floor before the regular agenda. After some discussion on the pros and cons of the courts and the proposed changes a motion was made by Mr. Altshuler to keep Mr. Salt involved in any decisions regarding the tennis courts. Mr. Walo seconded with all in favor. Mr. Farrell will have a meeting with the tennis members soon. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Facilities: The pool repairs and exterior woodwork repairs are in process. Golf course is open and in good shape. Friel Mgmt. has purchased new kitchen equipment. Mr. Farrell will check on the expansion possibility of the cart barn. Budget, Audit and Long Range Planning: Mr. Kenney not at the meeting to discuss/present budget. New Business: The following leaves were granted- Ken Alexander and Ron Capodilupo. Old Business: Nothing to report. Sales Report: Submitted for the previous month.
