Ms. Zambernardi called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
1. CVS - Steve Haight/Dodge Street/Site Plan Review
Members review revised plans submitted as a result of comments they made at the
January 8, January 15 and February 5 meetings of the Board.
Mr. Finch motioned to recommend that the Planning Board approve the plan with the
following conditions:
1. That the trellis’ are set 1 to 2 inches off from the building walls and are made of a
material with more dimensionality and substance than the diagonal lattice shown on
the plans. The Board discourages the use of plastic and diagonal lattice and suggests
a rectangular pattern rather than a diagonal pattern;
2. That the placement of the lattice on the Dodge Street facing side be changed to reflect
the placement and pattern of the lattice on the Shaws facing side, as indicated on the
attached photocopy; and
3. That the roofing materials and color palate match those applied to the rest of the
shopping plaza.
The Board noted that the signage shown on the plans is not included as part of the
approval. The applicants should meet with the building inspector to determine
conformance with zoning and subsequently should make an application to the Design
Review Board.
Ms. Brusca seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
