The purpose of the Post Deadline Review of Grants Meeting is for the Beverly
Cultural Council to look at all grants postmarked by October 16, 2000 and
determine whether they are filled out in accordance with Massachusetts Cultural
Council and Beverly Cultural Council guidelines. This was a working meeting
where the council looked at applications for technical problems. It was determined
that some grant applications had to be revised before further consideration by Friday
October 27, 2000. Marcia Hermann prepared a spreadsheet detailing all grant
applications. The council then numbered all grant applications and assigned "five
minute" appointments for applicants on either Thursday November 2 or 9, 2000 at
Beverly City Hall. Each member of the council received a copy of all applications.
The council reviewed and voted on a request from Susan Coolidge of Glen Urquhart
School, that she may have a nine month extension on the submission of her
reimbursement request (1999) for the Wetland's Boardwalk. The council all voted
in favor of granting this request. The council also voted in favor of passing the
minutes from the previous meeting. This meeting adjourned at 8:45pm.
