Mary Lou called meeting to order at 2:40 p.m.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
There was approval of the November 4, 2003 minutes (there was not a December meeting)
DIRECTOR’S REPORT: Leslee reported that the Senior Soiree was successful, Representative Mary

Grant will be holding a forum here on January 26, some new activities and scheduling for 20004.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: None.
LEGISLATIVE REPORT: None.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. Writing Class/Historical Documentation-Leslee reported there was no interest from the
writing class but the group offered suggestions of others that may be interested. Mary Lou
will call Fred Hammond and Claire Hart to see if they are interested, or know of someone
who is interested in writing an historical account of the council.
B. CDBG. Bob Murphy reported that the estimated cost of a traffic light is between $15,000-
$20,000. CDBG may be used for this. He will investigate further.
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Release of members’ phone numbers. Leslee reported that it is policy not to release the
telephone numbers and addresses of participants, staff, or board members. No members had a
problem with this policy.
B. Update subcommittee list. New subcommittees need to be chosen. Please think about which
committee you would like to serve on and we will form the subcommittees at the next
meeting.
