Others present: Leslee Breen, Director
Mary Lou Mital called meeting to order at 2:20 p.m. in the absence of the Chairman.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
The reading and approval of the August minutes was held over for the next meeting due to a lack of
quorum.
DIRECTOR’S REPORT: Leslee reported on building usage and Beano. She reported that Archie (driver)
would be retiring in November. We do not have the money to replace the position. The center has a
floater custodian whom is working four days a week. HVAC Unit #1 was replaced. She reported that the
sprinkler system is being looked at because corrosion and leakage had been found.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: None
LEGISLATIVE REPORT: COA line item was restored back to level funding.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. Board appointments. Tom reported that the Council should get the information at tonight’s
meeting.
NEW BUSINESS: Kathy reported that on December 1, 2003 a PACE site will be opening at the
Cummings Center.
