The meeting was called to order by Susan Albiero at 2:30p.m.
SECRETARY'S REPORT:
The minutes from the last meeting were reviewed and showed a lack of quorum and no
business.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
Acting Director Sheila Field reported that participation has been good and getting better.
The Financial and Bingo reports were accepted.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
No Communications or Friends meeting during August.
OLD BUSINESS:
Bus-Tom reported that bids for the bus will go out immediately and are due back
September 21
NEW BUSINESS:
Members were assigned to subcommittees as follows: Communications: Bob and Joe;
Building: Bob and Joe; Finance: Susan, Cynthia, and Joan; Rules and By-Laws: Kathy
and Cynthia.
A motion was made by Bob and seconded by Kathy to have regular meetings start at 1:30
p.m. Passed.
It was proposed to write to the police requesting a routine night patrol to prevent
vandalism on the Center's property on nights and weekends. Susan will compose the
letter and Sheila will send.
The tax abatement proposal has been delayed until the City Council acts on the proposals.
Discussion was held on changing the Senior Club's rent. This item was tabled until the
next meeting.
The Rules and By-Laws Subcommittee will hold a meeting on October 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
before the Board meeting to discuss rental policy/waiver changes.

The meeting closed at 3:45p.m. The next meeting is on October 3, 2000 at 1:30p.m.
