The meeting was called to order by Susan Albiero at 1:39p.m. Due to the lack of a
quorum, no voting occurred.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT:
Building usage for the month was 4 Bingo events, 1 Auction, 1 City Department meeting.
The financial reports were discussed reflecting the expenditures in the Emerprise fund. An
Update on the past month reflected the Senior Day in the Park event where our own Bob
Marshall was awarded the Senior of the Year Award.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
No Communications or Friends meeting during July or August.
OLD BUSINESS:
Porch update - after a discussion with Leslee Breen and Tom Scully, it was agreed that the
COA would go ahead and repair the porch. Bids are now being accepted.
Bus - a staff member and Tom Scully went to see a mock bus in New Hampshire. The
specs have been drawn up and presented to Tom to go to the City.
Board restructuring - postponed for the next meeting - awaiting appointments by Mayor
NEW BUSINESS:
No new business was presented at this time.
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
A fire occurred on our picnic table. The fire department was notified. A discussion about
security in the back of the building will be discussed at the next meeting.
The meeting closed at 2:34 p.m. The next meeting is on Sept. 5, 2000 at 2:30p.m.
