Vice Chair of the Planning Board, spoke briefly on Mr. Thomson's service to the
City.
Council President entertained a Motion to suspend the Rules in order to hear
from His Honor the Mayor — Approved — Vote: 9 -0
The Mayor spoke briefly on the single -use bag proposal coming up, on the financial
policies being developed, and on John Thomson's service on the Planning Board.

Atty. Alexander, who represents the Applicant on Order #024, expressed his willingness, in
response to Chair, Legal Affairs, Councilor Martin's comment that the Committee would
receive Order #024 this evening, but would schedule discussion on the Order at their next
Legal Affairs Committee Meeting, next Monday, 22 January 2018 @ 7:00 PM, here at City
Hall.
