the opportunity to receive a Federal Grant (Beverly Fire Dept.) with a modest match and request for a Public Hearing have considered said
matter and beg leave to report as follows, to wit:
Submit the accompanying order and recommend its adoption
That the City Council authorize the Mayor and Fire Chief to accept the grant and grant agreement articles
and also to approve the local match transfer of $14,885. over a two year period FY 2014 and FY 2015 from
the Fire Department Budget Ordered that the City Council of the Coty of Beverly hold a Public Hearing on
Monday November 4, 2013 at 7:20 PM in Council Chambers, 191 Cabot St., Beverly, MA. regarding a Federal Grant to provide training
and equipment for the new fire boat.

That the City take the following action:
Reduce the FY 14 Appropriation to the Water Enterprise Fund for the Plumber's Salary and Overtime
Reduce the Water Enterprise Fund - Regular Salary Account (Plumber)

Reduce the Water Enterprise Fund — Overtime Account
($20,000)
Increase the FY 14 Appropriation to the General Fund - Department of Public Services for the Plumbers Salary and Overtime
Increase the General Fund Department of Public Services Overtime Regular Payroll (the administration can select
the specific General Fund overtime account to denote building maintenance overtime)
$70,270
Increase the General Fund Department of Public Services Overtime Payroll (the administration can select the specific General Fund
overtime account to denote building maintenance overtime)

Reimburse the Water Enterprise Fund for FY 11, FY 12 and FY 13 charges of the Plumber's Salary and Overtime for services that
benefited the General Fund.
Transfer $255,080.06 from General Fund Free Cash to the Water Enterprise Fund "Free Cash" /Fund Balance as an
inter fund transfer to reimburse the Water Enterprise Fund for Services related to the General Fund
