THE SITE IS AT THE RAILROAD TRACKS. A LETTER FROM THE HEALTH
DEPARTMENT, LEO PANUNZIO WAS READ AT THE MEETING, STATING THAT
THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE NEW DESIGN, THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN
SUBMITTED AND APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF HEALTH. THE ENTIRE LAND IS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING.
NANCY LODGE - ASKED WILL THE GROUNDWATER BE CLEAN?
TALACKO - AS CLEAN AS NECESSARY.
DAVID LANG - IS EVERYTHING 4 FEET?
TALACKO ~ THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WILL BE RAISED. THE ACTUAL GROUNDWATER
IS 2 FEET BELOW GRADE AND WILL RAISE THE SYSTEM ABgUT 2 FEET.
DAVID LANG - ASKED ABOUT TESTS AND THE TIME PERIOD.
TALACKO - IT WILL TAKE PLACE OVER A 4 HOUR TIME PERIOD. THE HIGH
WATER iS 5 FEET.
HE THEN EXPLAINED TO NANCY LODGE THAT THE LEECHING FIELD WILL BE
UP ABOVE THE PIPE AND A PUMP WILL GO INTO IT. (A MOUND
APPEARANCE).
CLAYTON SMALL - QUESTIONED THE PIPE.
TALACKO - THE PIPE CHAMBER IS WATERPROOF AND IS NOT SUBJECT TO
FLOATATION, BEING HEAVIER.
