Dear Honorable Council:
There are two desirable capital improvement expenditures needed at Beverly Airport, one for
snow fighting and one for roadway reconstruction. This matter is fully explained in the attached
letter from Finance Director John Dunn, the Massachusetts Aeronautics Commission (MAC) has
agreed to pay 80% of the total expenditure leaving Beverly Airport to pay the remaining 20 %.
The proposal calls for MAC to pay $214,000 and for Beverly to pay $53,600.
The proposal outlined further in Mr. Dunn's letter is for the $53,600 to be taken from the most
recent Airport Free Cash certification of $100,445.
