Honorable City Council
City Hall
Beverly, MA 01915
Dear Honorable Council:
Attached is a letter from Finance Director John Dunn which requests that you appropriate $704,718 in
non - recurring revenue for the current fiscal year. His letter goes on to identify the uses to which we
wish to put these revenues. It is truly good news that we will be able to cover the various expenditure
needs without resorting to the use of any of the Free Cash which was recently certified by the State
Department of Revenue and which I will describe in a few moments.
I recommend that your Honorable Council set a public hearing for December 5 th to accomplish the
actions outlined in Mr. Dunn's letter.
Very truly yours,
1/9/2012
