Beverly CATV Advisory Commission Meeting

LOCATION: BevCam office, Beverly High School, Beverly, Ma.

Daniel Murphy - Chairman, George Johnson, Al Torsey, Eric Overberg, Kim Allyn, Neil

COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT:

· Communications and correspondence: None
o Old business:
o The March minutes were, voted on, and accepted.
o Daniel Murphy presented the final copy of the public survey... it was discussed, edited,
and accepted. Distribution methods were discussed such as fraternal orgs, Beverly
students, via councilors, at the Beverly arts fest, and by the school committee. Results
should be in by the end of June.
o George Johnson and Eric Overberg's April 14, 2010, meeting with Mike Collins was
discussed. Daniel Murphy asked Eric Overberg for a summary of the meeting.
o BevCam Business plan:
Donald Berman presented the business plan for comments by mid May
o New business:
o Walter Kosmowski presented David Masters' resume
o Walter Kosmowski presented the March BevCam report re: staff, production
schedule, project outreach, technical issues and financials.
· Open issues
o Questionnaire to Beverly department heads.
o BevCam budget and strategic plan.
o Public hearing
o Public survey
o Search for new commission members
o Waiting response from Mike Collins.
o City council briefing on survey.
o RFP's for other vendors should be published in June.
The next meeting is Wednesday, May 19 T\ 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at BevCam.
At 8:32 P.M. the meeting was adjourned.
