Meeting Minutes
Grant Application Review & Decisions Meeting II
January 17,2002 - 7:00pm

Marica Hermann, Helen Lewis, Susan Oleksiw, Jan Plourde and Lou Ann Faria
Marcia Hermann began the discussion with a review of meeting from last week and
update on where we stood with available funds to grant this year.
The Beverly Cultural Council (BCC) continued the discussion from the previous meeting,
and made fmal decisions for funding. All members attending voted in favor of funding
decisions made at this meeting. Attached is a list of the organizations who are approved
for funding from the Beverly Cultural Council this year.
Marcia Hermann is in the process of completing the MCC financial paperwork, each
member filled in the MCC's Voter Information form and Helen Lewis will take the fmal
list of approved and rejected applications, produce letters and process a mailing with
reimbursement forms and MCC credit requirements for all applicants to be mailed
immediately.
The council has requested a financial report from Beverly City Hall detailing current
account information for BCC. When the 2002 granting is complete, the council will
determine the amount of money if any, available to be regranted in the coming year.
All present members voted in favor of extension for S1. Mary Star of The Sea PASS grant
#POO 13 field trip to Tsongas Center to be extended into fiscal year 2002.
All present members voted against Lawrence Drouin's request for a second extension for
his grant to support a concert that was scheduled and canceled two years in a row.
Beverly Cultural Council Post Office Box #3032 keys are with Lou Ann Faria and Susan
Oleksiw until our next meeting this spring.
