Chapter 5, Section 1 Building and Building Regulations of the revised ordinances
of the City of Bevedy, 1989, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:

Amend Section 5-1 of the Beverly City Ordinances entitled "Building Permit Fees" by
adding the following to the end of the section:
"No storage container or bulk transportation device shall be stored or parked on a
premises without a permit from the Building Inspector, who may issue permits for the
storage of a maximum of two (2) such containers/devices on a premises for a period not
to exceed thirty (30) calendar days. Permits for the siting of storage containers or bulk
transportation devices for longer than thirty (30) calendar days but no more than ninety
(90) calendar days may be issued by the Beverly City Council. Each such device shall
require a permit, and no more than two (2) permits of any duration may be issued to
any premises annually. The fee for permits of thirty (30) days or less shall be $50.00. The
fee for permits of thirty one (31) to ninety (90) days in duration shall be $500.00."
This ordinance to take effect as provided by city Charter

Ordered: Beverly City Charter Sections 2-4A, 301C, and 4-1e state that the City
Council may establish annual salaries for themselves, the mayor and members of
the school committee (respectively), provided that those increases not take effect
unless they are adopted during the first twelve months of a term of office and that
such salary increases only take effect with the organization of the city government
following the next biennial election.
Considering such, I therefore propose the following annual salary range figures for
the position of Mayor:
