At a meeting of ye Selectmen the 24 of February 1679 reckoned with John Black and we do
discharge him of the rates that he was entrusted by ye town to gather.
Received of Peter Woodbury ye 24 of February 1679 fifty shillings in silver.
Ye 23 of ye 11 mo. 1679 a rate made for ye town and committed Peter Woodbury to gather
which amounts to 13 pounds and one shilling 13 £: 1 s.
