Dear Council Members:
I am writing on behalf of the Beverly Senior Center, as the volunteer co-chair for an
upcoming auction, my request is to be placed on the Agenda for the next
scheduled meeting of the City Council.
The auction is scheduled to take place at the center Saturday, May 16, 1998. It is
the request of the auction committee that the council would approve the sale of
wine and beer for the night of the auction. With your approval, the sale of alcohol
would be done professionally through an organization called Boston's Best
Bartenders. They are fully insured and will present a certificate of insurance for the
evening of the event.
