Bruce Doig presented information to the Board on the Assisted living formerly known as
Landmark Senior Housing in Beverly, is now Monarch Senior Housing. Sixty-seven residents
will have 90 days to vacate due to a renovation project. Residents have no guarantees that they
can return after the renovation. Sen. Joan Lovely, State Rep. Jerry Parisella met with State
Secretary of Elder Affairs in response to the situation. The news reports distributed to the Board
made it clear that Monarch's decision has devastated the senior residents and their families.
Local agencies, such as Senior Care of North Shore,North Shore Community Action Program
