Public Hearings Order#201-7:15pm-A appropriation to transfer funds from National Grid MOA related to the 115KV electric transmission cable project in the amount of$410,000 to be deposited into the General Fund Finance Director Bryant Ayles gave a brief summary of the request and there was some discussion. No members of the public wished to speak on the item. The public hearing was closed and the item was referred to Committee on Finance and Property. The Council broke for committee work. The meeting recessed at 7:36pm. The meeting was called back to order at 7:45pm. Public Hearings Order#208-7:45pm-A loan authorization request for$1,500,000 for repairs and improvements to the Central Fire Station Ayles gave a brief summary of the request and there was some discussion with Fire Chief Peter O'Connor and Commissioner of Public Services Michael Collins.No members of the public wished to speak on the item. The public hearing was closed and the item was referred to Committee on Finance and Property. The Council broke for committee work. The meeting recessed at 8:32pm. The meeting was called back to order at 8:45pm. A motion to take the agenda out of order was made and seconded. A vote was taken, and the motion carried (7-0).
