meeting was called to order. at 6:02 p.m.
OPEB Update: No update this month.
A motion was made by Kevin Smith and seconded by D. Wesley Slate,.Jr. to approve the minutes of the
March 21, 2024 Special Meeting.Adam Travinski abstained. 4-0 in favor.
A motion was.made by Kevin Smith and seconded by D.Wesley Slate,Jr.,to approve the minutes of the
March 28, 2024 Meeting.5-0 in favor.
A motion was made by D.Wesley Slate,Jr. and seconded.by Adam Travinski to approve the
superannuation retirement,of Janet Doig-Para- DOFR: June 20, 2024 and Fernando Homem-
Electrician-DOFR June 5, 2024.Vote 5-0 in favor.
A motion was made by Carol Augulewicz and.seconded by D.Wesley Slate, Jr to approve the
following refunds:.Edward Hartnett-Beneficiary of Arthur Hartnett- $27,006.12. Kim Michaud-BHA-
$2,985.70. Kristen Lachance-Para-$4,041.81.and Issac Baer- Para-$3,805.42.Vote.5-0 in favor
A motion was made by D.Wesley Slate,Jr. and seconded by Kevin Smith to approve the Financial
Information for the months of January 2024 which. included Trial Balance, Cash Receipts, Cash
Disbursements,Adjusting Journal Entries, Cash Reconciliation, and Bank Statements.Vote 5-0 in
favor.
A motion was made by Carol Augulewicz and seconded by D.Wesley Slate, Jr. to approve the A
,monthly Rent warrant for May in the amount of$1,500.00.Vote 5-0 in favor.
A motion was made by.Adam Travinski and seconded by D. Wesley Slate to approve the Monthly
Retiree Warrant/AP Warrants in the amount of$1,474,294.99. Vote 5-0 in favor.
A motion was made by D.Wesley Slate, Jr. and seconded by Kevin Smith to approve the Refund
Warrant in the amount of$38,790.41. Vote 5-0 in favor:
Old Business:Executive Director Position.A candidate was chosen, Chairman Ayles,informed the
Board that the candidate accepted the position at the salary rate that the Board offered. Candidate will
now go through the.CORI process and physical exam.A hire date was unknown at this time but a
transition period was discussed. Chairman Ayles recognized that the Assistant Administrator has been
working above grade.since the retirement of the former Administrator.He asked that the Board
consider some kind of stipend retroactive to April.1, 2024.All Board.members agreed this was fair. It
was decided that if a transition.period takes place Meaghan will be paid at the Administrators rate for
the days she is working alone and paid at her Assistant rate when the new Director is in office.A.
motion was made by Kevin Smith and seconded by D.Wesley Slate Jr. to compensate the Assistant

Administrator at the rate of the former AdrniniWators.salary, retroactive to April 1, 2024 for the interim
period until the new Director has officially started employment with the Beverly Retirement.Board.

reviewed.A motion was made by Kevin Smith and seconded by Adam Travinski to approve the

and seconded by Kevin Smith to appoint Meaghan McLaughlin as the Election Officer. Vote 5-0 in
