Mayor, City Council and School committee
St. Hilaire called Committee of the Whole at 6:30PM with Bowen, Rotondo, and Spang in attendance.
Order#177—The committee discussed future rates, administrative impact,resident concerns, and cost towards the South
Essex Sewerage district with fellow Councilors, Commissioner Collins,Bryant Ayles, and Gerry Perry. The matter was
held for further consideration.
Order#280—A motion to recommend to bifurcate the order to#280A—Proposed Order Amending Beverly Ordinances
Section 26-14 (Salary and expenses of the City Council members) and Section 69-12(Unclassified Salaries: Mayor and
School Committee), was made and seconded. A vote was taken, and motion carried(3-0). Order#280 will be reported
back to the Committee of the Whole and remain with Order#280A.
