Introduction of members. 2. Review of City Council Resolution (14 November 2023). 3. Feedback from City Councilors and Mayor Cahill. 4. Elect a chairperson. 5. Integration of City Bike Map and Three Year paving Plan. Definition of paint on pavement and signage independent of paving. 6. Bicycle and pedestrian incidents 2020-2023, initial data collection and next steps. 7. Pedestrian issues data base creation, ward based Walk Audits in 2025. 8. BPAC operating model and collaboration with related city departments and commissions. Notes: 1. Next meeting 14 November 2024. 2. City Council update at a December City Council meeting. Meeting Notes and Actions: Called to order at 6pm, adjourned at 7:20pm. 1. Present, Paul Gentile, Carl Kooyoomjian, Jennifer Plowden, Jared Porter and Jonathan Salt. Also participating Lisa Chandler , City Engineer, who is to be sworn in as a full member. 2. Review of City Council and Mayor Cahill feedback on focus and priorities. 3. Motion made and seconded and all in favor of Carl K Kooyoomjian as Chairperson. 4. Action: Integration of City Bike Map and Three Year Paving Plan. Also definition of paint on pavement & signage independent of paving. Report back on proposed plan at the 14 November 2024 meeting. Lisa Chandler with Jonathan Salt supporting. 5. Action: Refine bicyclist and pedestrian data into meaningful insights. Propose next steps on data definition and collection working with Traffic Safety and Records. Review at the 14 November 2024 meeting. Jared Porter with Carl Kooyoomjian supporting. 6. Action: Review Vision Zero as a directional approach and potential applicability to Beverly. Update at 14 November meeting. Paul Gentile 7. Action: Refine capability of and proposal for ward based Walk Audits to be held in 2025. Review at 14 November 2024 meeting. We will take the responsibility to be proactively collaborative with related city departments and commissions. 9. Open position, Carl will follow up with the Mayor.
